Shadows | A Poem by Ananya S. Guha

Sun-tinged, morning appears, ghost shadows
stalk across paths. Outside
there are happenings of all kinds, masked by people blabbering.
The milk man enters, school rush is over
and shadows curl supinely
to sleep for another day.
