Mean People | A Poem by Martalynn

I don’t want to play games with mean people anymore
snip and snipe
and back and fourth
and going nowhere of course

I don’t want to see mean faces anymore
sharp teeth
and snide smiles
run and run
run for miles

I don’t want to like mean people anymore
take and take
and nothing in return
nothing but scars
and searing burns
