The Mister | A Poem by JD DeHart

The mister with his
tiny mustache,
carries his masculinity
wherever he goes.
he keeps it in one of those
drab old leather canvas
bags, along with shaving
cream and a few issues
of swimsuit magazines.
if pressed, he has no idea
what it means to be a male
in this world of ours,
but he certainly knows
the marketing.
