Sleep vs. Nap | A Poem by G.S. Katz

precious commodity
never enough
don’t take it for granted
a zone out in paradise
somewhere between
is the precious nap
sometimes better than 8
20 minutes of bliss
the recharge mantra
the time out for adults
just let me have this
then I’ll zoom some more
