Whiskey, Haze, Cranked, Pleasure, Lone Wolf | A Poem by G.S. Katz

your remarkable smile
across the room
gives one hope
of what could have been
once was
or will never be again

the mysterian always wins
those who stand alone
know the power of silence
until words need to be spoken

single malt expensive Irish whiskey
in a weighted glass
the wonderful haze
Bowie cranked loud

everyone wants pleasure
masturbation is always free
take it if there’s nothing else
the lone wolf wins again
