Poems and Poetry

Blooming Like Winter | A Poem by Scott Thomas Outlar

This bottle is broken
This wine has been spilled

This rose is now growing
in the darkest hour

These tears are violent
These hopes are screaming passion

The past is dying
laid in a perfect grave

The future is yawning
with a breath of fresh air
