Poems and Poetry

A Moment | A Poem by Ananya Dhawan

Amidst endless cacophonies
the soul desires
a moment of naivety
of nonchalance;
an innocent moment
of pure truth
when you are – just you.

An innocuous moment
when all haphazard
is put together like a jigsaw puzzle,
complete.

When truth and lies merge
into one powerful feeling
of numbness…
