Waiting in Line | A Poem by G.S. Katz

I would rather not have something
I want
If it means waiting in line
For more than 20 seconds

Tried and true New Yorker
Impatient, brooder, no fault moody
The one and only thing I wait for
Is you – you get a pass everytime
